How to get there?
The retreat is taking place in a villa in the Andalusian’s mountains, 30 minutes away from the beach, in Andalusia, South of Spain. To get there by plane, the closest airport is in Malaga. There are several international destination getting in Malaga airport, from the UK, Germany, Italy, Northen Europe, etc etc, from traditional companies and low cost ones as well. So check them out too and you might be able to fly in Malaga at a great price.
From the airport, there is a shuttle bus running every 45 minutes to Marbella bus station for about 7 euros per person. There are also a few buses a day directly to Estepona, the closest town. It is the fastest, most reliable and cheapest way to get to the retreat as we will pick up you at Estepona Bus Station for free. If you require a pick up at the airport, we will have to charge you some extra. You can get the shuttle timetable here.
There are direct flights from malaga to many european and international destinations. Check www.skyscanner.net and www.statravel.com
Airport pick up will be an extra cost.
You may wish to rent a vehicle to explore the area for example the nearby mountain with a peak of 1400 meters above sea level only a few kilometers away from the beach, with astounding views of Gibraltar and Morocco.
The official opening time of the retreat is at 14:00 on July 6, and the closing time of the retreat is at 12:00 on July 13. |

What to expect during the retreat?
The retreat is one week long. It is taking place at Las Veguetas, a villa in the Andalusian’s mountains, 30 minutes away from the beach, in Andalusia, South of Spain. The villa has a private pool, a large garden space, and free wifi.
During the retreat, all kinds of activities will be offered and included in the price: yoga, fitness and calisthenics, sprinting and running, slackline, omgym, music and art and creative workshops, meditation, raw preparation classes, discussion groups, talks via live feed with the pioneers of fruit based raw food, one on one consultation, workshop on eco building, delicious organic fruits and fresh greens, and a durian party!
Other special services will be offered at extra costs like massages.
Everyday you will have the unique chance to participate in an intimate live feed talk with rawfood pioneers around the world and ask them questions directly for your own personal response.
The meals are all raw vegan, low fat, and prepared fresh on site with local organic produce, some coming from our own and nearby farms. Water will also be coming from a local spring in the mountain.
If you like, you can participate in the preparation of the meals, and discover some new recipes with our staff.
During the week, different discussions will take place, on various subjects like health, sport and nutrition, or even permaculture, and the organizers will be present and pleased to answer your questions.

What about insurance?
As a participant to the retreat you understand you are coming under your own responsibility, and should make sure your insurance will cover any medical expenses you may have during your stay in Spain. The organizers of the retreat cannot be taken accountable for any injury or disease occurring to the participant during their stay. Make sure you are covered in Spain with your insurance company before arriving.
If the participant plan on bringing some valuable belongings, the participant is responsible for those.

Are there limitations to the number of participants for the retreat?
The retreat has a maximum number of 12 participants. This limit in participants is set in order for everyone to receive a personalized service.

What should I bring?
Here is a list of things you should bring for the retreat:
- running or hiking shoes for outdoor activities
- notepad for taking notes, keeping a food diary, creative sessions and keeping new contacts
- stationery for creative sessions
- recording device eg camera, camcorder, camera phone for visual diaries
- swimming gear
- water bottle
- music instrument
- smile
- biodegradable soap
- sunscreen
- etc...

What accomodation do we get?
Each bedroom will be shared between 3 and 4 people depending on the size of the room. For more privacy, you can reserve a bedroom with king size bed for two people staying together for an extra cost.

What’s the weather like in the region?
The weather in the area in May is very nice, warm and sunny, with daily average temperature in the 30ºC. You can plan on wearing shorts and flip flops during the retreat. If you are not used to the sun, keep in mind this is a Southern location and the sun may be stronger than you are used to. Consider bringing some sunscreen.

How does the registration process work?
In order to register for the retreat, you should first create a user profile on our online registration service, then you can add the retreat to your basket and send us your basket. You can also contact us directly with the contact page.
In order to confirm your place at the retreat, we will ask you to pay a non refundable safety deposit of 200 € per registration, at that time you can also pay the full registration if you prefer, by bank transfer. All the payment details will be sent to you at that time.
You will receive a link to a list of questions to reply in order for the staff to know you a bit before you arrive.
To complete your payment for the retreat, you will have the possibility either to pay the full amount of the fees by bank transfer, or in cash upon arrival.

How should I get ready ahead of the retreat?
In order for you to get the best experience of the retreat, we strongly recommend you make a few adjustments to your daily routine a week ahead if needed. For example, we recommend you to refrain from eating animal products during that week, and cooked cereals and grains as much as possible. This way, you will have less detox symptoms to deal with during the retreat so you can enjoy all the activities!

Can I bring a pet?
We cannot accept pets in the villa. Thank you for your understanding.

What’s on the menu?
During the retreat, we will make sure you are never short on fruits. All meals are prepared fresh on premises daily, and greens picked directly at a local farm in the vicinity. Raw vegan and low fat meals, specially prepared for you.
We will get local and as much organic fruits as possible. The main fruits for the retreats depending on the season are:
- cherimoyas
- melons
- papayas
- bananas from Andalusia and Canaries Islands
- avocados (fuerte, hass, wild...)
- durian for the party (obviously, not local)
- and many more.

What do you propose if I cannot stay raw?
If you have some problems staying raw during the retreat, we will first take the time to discuss with you and try to find what it really keeping you from doing so for the week. In the eventuality this first step does not help, we will offer you to try to eat more greens and salads throughout the day.
In respect for the other participants, we will not offer any cooked foods during the retreat.

Do I have to be fit to participate?
The activities are prepared so that every one can participate no matter your fitness level. We will adapat the level of the workouts to everyone.

Sleeping hours
In order for everyone to have enough sleep during the retreat, we ask everyone to go to bed around 10 pm at the latest, for a wake up time between 7 and 8 am.

Photos, videos etc taken during the retreat?
By participating to the retreat, you agree with the organizers to record videos and take pictures during the retreat, and to use those for promoting future events.
In the eventuality you do not agree with the organizers using footage and pictures of you, please let us know upon arrival.

What is included and not?
Accomodation, food, activities in group, talks, discussion groups, pickup and dropoff at the Marbella Bus Station are all included.
We will be offering some massages during the retreat at an additional cost.
If you request a personal pickup at the airport, an additional contribution will be requested.

Can I come for one day?
Yes, we have day passes at 60 € per day, including meals and day activity with no accomodation. Day passes are not available for the day with the durian party.
Please make your reservation in advance.

Cancellation?
If you cancel your stay with us, we will refund you what you have paid so far minus the 200€ non refundable safety deposit.
If for some reason the retreat has to be cancelled by the organizers, we will refund you all payments made to us, and offer you an alternative stay.
